“Great skins! I bought these for the Grand Tetons and they've been great so far. They are lightweight, very easy to attach, and have great traction. This tip and tail connectors are some of the best I've used.”
“The glide is greater and the climb is lighter, what more can one ask? I do not race, but moving up from a heavier skin/set up to these has been a treat on all fronts!”
“After buying a used pair early model Dynafit skis I was faced with finding some speed skins. Cripple Creek was the only place that could help. They have my loyalty”
“I've had about a month out on my new speed skins, so not sure about longevity of products. So far ive been pleasently impressed with these skins though. I was using 4season old bd ascensions that glopped and iced up, and had sticky glue issues before upgrading to these bad boys. These skins seems to avoid the glop associated w/ spring temp swings here in western MT where I live. One of my ski partners has new nylon G3 skins, on tour lately they iced up all day while my speed skins stayed mostly ice free. The speed tip is also a real time saver in the transitions; total game changer. Going back to removing skins the old fashioned way (stepping out of the bindings) will be depressing. On the uphill these skins might have just a tiny bit less grip on ice crust than traditional nylon skins (get some ski crampons for that craps) The speed skins also fold up nicely (low profile) w/o the need for skin savers. Hopefully they last a long time! I would definitely recommend these skins to a friend.”
“Ordered it, but despite skiing a few times in the backcountry (SkiMo) the terrain in Northern UT was too steep to put on the skins, soooo... will have to wait and see!”
