“This is the best piece of insurance you can carry with you on ski/board mountaineering missions. I have carried a regular axe for miles and never needed it, only to need one when I left it at the car when I wanted to drop some weight. I never know this axe on my pack, but I'm glad when it's there. A great tool for ski/board mountaineering.”
