“I was lucky enough to get a pair in the Spring- and WOW! Salomon finally delivered on a true back country free ride boot. I tried the original Quest- then the Quest Max and while those were fine boot for the confines of the ski area, the new Mtn Lab will take you beyond. A fully formable liner, straight forward 2 buckle design and a flex still enough for driving big wide skis. Hike mode is easy to use and secure when in ski mode. While you can find lighter- these boots are as light as my old Scarpa RS and fit way better. Salomon finally lives up to the hype.”
