“As per normal, I left ordering new reeds until I really needed some. I was disappointed that the Prince Professional reeds were no longer listed on the website as I had really liked them. Britannia ones are good, but I find them not quite as responsive on my bassoon especially when doing band stuff and having to play the bass part (why would anyone want to be a bass player - tediously dull!) However, I can get the Britannia ones playing quickly - and in fact played a rehearsal on a new one - that's how desperate I was!
