“Having tried dozens of different reeds (I'm probably not alone in that respect), including a very costly synthetic reed, the Crook & Staple Professional Bassoon Reed is the best I have come across to date. Good tone, good intonation, excellent dynamic range. My one disappointment with it is it's reliability in the very low register.”
