“Poor Design and Result
I bought bases for Crossnet because my students loved playing this game outside and I thought they'd like to play inside as well. When I got Crossnet in, I was disappointed. You can't fill sand or water in the base, you have to fill bags and place them on top of the bases. Also, the bases/poles don't keep the net taunt, which is frustrating for those setting up and unacceptable for those playing.
If I've just setup the bases/game wrong, please let me know - a taunt net would increase my rating to 4-stars.”
“We purchased two of the four square sets for our church to use indoors for our childrens and youth programs. Unfortunately, we found that even with the 5 included weights, the boundary lines slid along the carpeted floor and kids easily tripped on them. Perhaps if there were additional weights for the halfway points on each line as well this would alleviate this issue. The kids decided they liked taping the floors better as the lines do not move, so we will go back to that. Maybe the boundaries would be more secure outside? We will have to try again outdoors in the spring. The quality of the product is excellent, just didn't function the way we needed it to. I must admit we were disappointed as we spend a lot of money on tape, and the tape is hard on the carpet, which is what led us to try crossnet out. It is a great idea in theory, just not the best for indoors.”
“This is a great idea and the game is lots of fun! The students in our youth group love it. Our only complaint is that the stakes and the bag seemed to be made cheaply. The bag was punctured by the poles the first time we used it and the stakes bent the first time too.”
“I ordered this in 2020 and NEVER got it. Ever. We have security footage all around our house- the package wasn’t stolen by anyone, we just NEVER got it. I had ordered it for my son’s graduation party in the spring of 2020 and we were looking forward to getting it. I was so disappointed because it looked so fun. - Susan M Foster - 11/08/2022.”
“The net system is pretty good all around. The only area of concern from our system is that the tie down lines could be a little thicker and the carabiners could be of higher quality and more robust.”
“You will not like my review of your product. It takes way too long to assemple it. No one wants to play with our Crossnet because of that reason, so it just sits in the garage. I'm talking about our kids and grandkids. So, how about a refund?”
