“The watch box looks amazing and is good quality. However, the description says that the watch winder can be plugged in or powered via batteries. The watch winder has a spot for batteries but the on/off switch is physically missing and so it cannot be turned on unless it is connected to power via the cable. This means that it is unable to be used with batteries. I bought this because the description said that it can work on batteries. Very disappointed that we’ve been lied to.”
“One of the engine of the watch winder box is noisy, so I opened the box up. I was very surprised to find out that the engines are actually made in China NOT Japan and definitely not quiet as stated in the description. If you would like pictures I can also provide these. Not very happy with this product and I do not recommend it.”

Sorry to hear the motor is noisy. The motors used in our winders are Mabuchi, which is a Japanese brand with factories in China. Info here https://www.mabuchi-motor.com/company/network
We've sold hundreds of these and our customers are usually happy with these winders. It's not often we come across complaints like this but when we do, we are eager to resolve it.
The winders we sell are known to be quiet, if this is not the case we are happy to send a new one or do a full refund.
