“I debated this purchase for quite some time. The price point is a bit of a splurge for me. Plus I am really trying to only buy things that will have a long lifespan and provide lots of joy. Now that I finally pulled the trigger I have no regrets. I was initially interested to linen bedding because I sleep hot. While this linen duvet cover isn't a silver bullet, it is cooler and more comfortable than the percale cover I had been using. That alone is a plus. What I have enjoyed the most is the softness and overall comfort. I don't sleep with a top sheet and rarely wear more than a small t-shirt and shorts, even in the winter. So the duvet is right against my skin. It is a lovely feel to snuggle up with. Also, it washes like a dream. My snuggly doodle sleeps with me most nights and as a result I wash the cover weekly. Washing has made it softer and it comes out of the dryer and can go right onto the bed. It is a little rumply, but not bad, and I like that look. I would NOT like it if it was super wrinkled and sloppy looking. Overall quality seems really nice. The weight of the linen is substantial without being too heavy and the construction seems very good. All in all, a great purchase.”
