This is third set I have bought. Everything I said in the December 12, 2021 review still applies. Wonderfully oversized, negligible shrinkage. Nice feel. Very comfortable. All three sets seem to be holding up so far. Very satisfied.

December 12, 2021: Review of Cultiver Linen Queen sheet set with fitted sheet, natural color. The linen Queen sheet set, natural color was nicely boxed, the sheet set was folded and enclosed in a linen sack and arrived on time. The sheet set looked quite nice and had a fair amount of heft. The feel out of the box was soft and smooth with a slight feel of texture. The general recommendation is to wash the set before using. The set has been washed on delicate cycle, warm water with two rinses using one of the Seventh Generation products suggested online and dried using a gentle, warm setting in the dryer. The sheets were removed from the dryer while still slightly damp. I am on a well and have hard water, so the house is equipped with a water softener. In addition to that I often use some baking soda in combination with the detergent. To better test this product so I could write a meaningful review on a timely basis, we did not rotate sheet sets after one week of use as we usually do. We used the Cultiver sheet set for two consecutive weeks, washing them after each week (a total of three washes). The mattress and 3 inch topper on it have a total height of somewhat less than 16 ½ inches. The fitted sheet is described as 18 inches in depth. I figured this should be sufficient for a good fit if there was some shrinkage after the first few washings. Before the first wash, the fitted sheet was a bit oversized with enough room to tuck under the mattress on all 4 sides, with some to spare. The top sheet had a drape of about 23 inches on both sides of the mattress and about 25 ½ inches at the foot of the mattress. I have a high foundation under the mattress and the top of the mattress is about 32 ½ inches above the floor, so the generous sizing was not a problem with the flat sheet which did not reach the floor. The pillow cases are a bit oversized but are not typical pillow cases with an open sleeve on one end that you slide the pillow into. Although I would prefer the previous type of pillow case, the Cultiver pillow case has a simple envelope closure at center back. These take a little more effort, but I could get use to it. Generous sizing for my standard-queen sized pillows. After the first wash there was not a lot of lint in the lint filter, but a little more than I expected. The fitted sheet fit as well as it did prewash. I noticed no changes in measurement. I was able to tuck the bottom under the mattress on all sides with some to spare. The flat sheet after the first washing had the same drape on all sides as prewash. Evidently no noticeable shrinkage. The pillow cases fit the queen size pillows fine. I like the fit so far. The sheets felt relatively smooth, soft with a slight feel of texture. The pillowcases are still a generous size for my standard queen pillow, no evident shrinkage. The flat sheet after the second washing had a drape of about 22 3/4 inches on each side of the mattress and about 25½ inches at the foot of the bed, pretty much the same as after the first wash. The fitted sheet fit as well as it did prewash and after the first wash. The pillow cases fit the queen size pillows fine. There was not a lot of lint in the lint filter, but a little more than I expected, about the same as after the first wash. The sheets look like they would be durable, but time will tell. After a night’s use, the fitted sheet will have to be retucked to make it tight and flat on the mattress, but I don’t mind that, other well fitting sheet sets I have that fit tighter also require the fitted sheet to be retucked in the morning because of some rumples in the fabric. In conclusion, I liked the quality and feel of the linen. I like the generous sizing which should protect the good fit if there is some shrinkage over time after many washes. I have about 16 ½ inches depth for the mattress and topper and these sheets fit comfortably with some to spare so, the 18 inch depth claimed works well for my mattress. I noticed no measurable changes in the fitted or flat sheets after three washings. Although I can get used to the envelope pillow case with the center closure at the back, I wish they also offered a choice of pillow case types including the standard slip in opening at the end. In late November they had a sale and I bought a second queen sheet set. The pre-wash fit was just as generous as the first sheet set reviewed above and after the first wash the sizing and fit was virtually the same as pre-wash. Easy to rate: Five Stars: good quality linen with a nice feel, generous sizing to protect against some future shrinkage. I think these will prove durable.

Blissful. I can't imagine why I waited so long to purchase linen sheets.

the fabric is wonderfully soft and feel very comfortable . I would prefer to have the pillowcases sewn as a typical pillowcase and not as a pillow sham with the envelope method. The fold, in my opinion, is not comfortable. Love the natural color.
