“These sheets are soft in a way that is quite different from flannel or worn, soft cotton. They have substance to their softness and a generosity in the full cut of the fitted sheet. These sheets remind me of a long stay in an ancient, whitewashed apartment in the Second Arrondissement of Paris on Rue St. Denis in the 1980s. There used to be so much more generosity and easiness to life.”
