I bought this as an afternoon tea for some friends having a hard time. They had nothing but praise for the food and were chuffed to recieve the delivery. Sadly, it was delivered at 9.10pm, which was quite late and disappointing especially as they get limited days off together (keyworkers). I appreciate that delivery is difficult at this time however.

A really lovely idea, felt like such a treat. Brownies were perfect! Scones lovely warmed through & plenty of jam. My only criticism was the lack of clarity on flavours - what’s exactly is ‘dream’ cake and which fruits are in the ‘fruity’ jam?! Oh, and woefully small amount of clotted cream for 4 large scones. Other than that, loved it!

Hi there! Thank you so much for your review :) I just wanted to respond to your questions as I appreciate a bit more clarity would help. Dreamcakes are our Cutter & Squidge cakes, it isn't a flavour by itself, but the reason we are unable to specific flavours for the cake as well as the jam is due to stock supplier issues. Since covid-19 hit, we have had numerous orders from suppliers fall through, which means rather than strawberry jam we have had to substitute for raspberry, or whatever fruits we have. Rather than disappoint customers who would be expecting a particular flavour, we decided to say fruity. This goes with the Dreamcakes and what we receive over the week. I hope this helps clarify a little why we use this terminology. Hopefully when things return to normal in the future, we would be able to be clearer on what flavours we will be creating :)
