“Pretty disappointing. The taste of all elements (apart from the lemon) is pretty bland. The dried blueberries on top were nice and the decoration looks like the picture. The texture of the sponge is moist, but I don’t necessarily think this is the nice kind of moist. Whilst it’s moist because it’s fresh, it feels like the sponge mix is almost too wet. The white chocolate balls on the top could’ve been filled and would have been a nice way to add extra flavour, rather they were hollow. Overall this cake was Meh & is nothing to write home about. Crumbs & Doilies is better hands down. Cutter & Squidges only saving point is that they deliver next day!”
