“I just finished this cake which was ordered for my 30th birthday. It was absolutely delightful! The sponge was so light and fluffy and was perfect buttercream to sponge ratio. The mix of flavours were perfect and it was not too rich so I could eat so much. It came beautifully decorated and carefully carried. Would highly recommend! Everyone loved it :)”
“I usually order the chocolate hazelnut cake and decided to order this as it looked so beautiful. The cake does really look stunning but I definitely feel that the taste can be improved. For example, there wasn't much taste from the cake sponge so maybe some vanilla essence or chocolate flavouring can be added to improve this.
Similarly, the buttercream tasted quite bland, maybe some real butter can be added to make it taste more like buttercream.
Overall, it's not a bad cake and most guests liked it but ill definitely be sticking to the chocolate hazelnut cake next time.”
