“It was a good enough cake but we were hoping for more creme patissiere and less buttercream. It was quite sweet. It was also tasty and looked good, and the vegan in the family could eat it. But as one son said, it was a good birthday cake but not an 'occasions' cake, pleasant and pretty but not more.”
