“After months of seeing ads for it, I finally decided to order the leather sporran. I was hesitant because it was so much more expensive than other sporrans I've seen. When it arrived, I was disappointed. The leather had obvious imperfections that should have been culled at the cutting stage, not ignored. It looked like it had been assembled by someone working as quickly as possible. Pieces that were supposed to line up neatly didn't quite match. I'm worried about the zipper wearing out prematurely where it passes around one corner. It requires two hands to ease the zipper pull around the corner, where ideally it should only take one hand. It's a decent sporran, but it feels and looks like it should cost $39, not $69.”
“The black leather sporran is everything I needed to accompany my kilts. In addition to its inherent modesty assistance, it looks really cool and functions wonderfully. The leather and stitching are quality, as is the attractive hardware, and its storage capacity is deceptively large for its sized. We’ll see how it wears over time but, for now, I am very satisfied with my purchase and would happily recommend.”
