“Cover cap worked great..received it in just a few days..easy to install..just wish that speaker hole was completely cut out to expose the original speaker cover..”
“This was a skin for a 2007 GMC Yukon XL Denali. I Ordered the two-piece cover in case I had to replace the ambient light sensor or access the wiring harness later on. The two-piece is the one piece that is available, factory cut into two pieces. The cut was slightly wavy, but since this is from the same one-piece, it is not noticed after it is installed. The fit and finish of this item is A plus. Looks as good or better than the original. The cocoa color match is almost perfect. Two tubes of silicone adhesive that was supplied was more than enough to do the job. Install was easy. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. Time will tell the durability of the product.”
“Very satisfied with the outcome and the fitment. For the price it definitely makes a great quick and easy repair.
Couple of install tips for future customers:
(1) Definitely watch the install videos DashSkin has to give you an idea.
(2) Test fit! Find your high and low spots on your broken dash. Apply enough silicone on the low spots to ensure contact.
(3) Have enough heavy “things” ready to weigh everything down during cure time.
(4) The front edge just above the center vents is the tricky spot. It’s hard to apply pressure here but it’s definitely needed. I used a cargo brace to carefully wedge it between the front of the DashSkin and against the edge of the sunroof. Little pressure just to hold the DashSkin down.
Prep work is everything. The install, if you test fit it, is very easy even by yourself.”
