“Dash skin cover was too expensive. A new dash for the specific vehicle was only 50$ more. And the dash skin was warped so install would have been difficult. Too expensive unfortunately. Great idea theoretical but not too practical”
“This was a skin for a 2007 GMC Yukon XL Denali. I Ordered the two-piece cover in case I had to replace the ambient light sensor or access the wiring harness later on. The two-piece is the one piece that is available, factory cut into two pieces. The cut was slightly wavy, but since this is from the same one-piece, it is not noticed after it is installed. The fit and finish of this item is A plus. Looks as good or better than the original. The cocoa color match is almost perfect. Two tubes of silicone adhesive that was supplied was more than enough to do the job. Install was easy. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. Time will tell the durability of the product.”
