“As an autoimmune disease sufferer unfortunately I have a metal sensitivity problem too, I'm unable to tolerate any metal coming in contact with herb or concentrate (severe headaches), so the news that there are ceramic pods to go with the iq2 was a great incentive for me. They do get stained from multiple uses (approx a week of usage, depend on usage obviously), but they persevere the iq2 oven clean!!, the stains can be partially removed with ISO, soaking it for a day and then rinsing the parts in clean RO water afterwords, to dry them and remove any traces of ISO simply line your crockpot with baking paper and put it on high and spread the ceramic parts on the paper, the crockpot will cook any ISO off them.
I found too that I can fill them with hemp fibre (degummed) and apply concentrates on the fibre and get great clean taste vapour, cotton gives me headaches even if organic, so sticking with hemp.”
“I've been using these pods every day since last October (2020). What I love is that I can calculate exactly how long I have until I need to order more herb. I work all day and then take the edge off with one of these little guys. I know there's many people out there who smoke a lot more than .2g but this is enough for me. saves so much time and money. I docked a star because I find these are actually not that easy to clean. I soaked them in ISO but they ended up getting stained anyway. When I went to smoke after cleaning and thoroughly rinsing with water, I could taste the ISO after each draw.. Eventually the taste went away. So I stopped soaking them or cleaning them and they work just fine. they look a little grungy but they work. i've ordered the stainless steel version today. Those I assume will be much easier to clean and I should be able to soak those. Ill give'm a go and post another review of the other ones.”
“These pods are a fantastic way to measure out doses. I fill a couple of each strain I have and store in their containers. To use, just pop them in. Using pods helps keep the oven chamber much cleaner, reducing maintenance to only a few minutes.”
“In unison with the DaVinci IQ2, the dosage pods are durable enough to be used multiple times without a thorough cleaning. They are helpful in preserving your daily cannabis usage (.2g dosage pod vs a bowl or joint .4-1g) but will come out too hot to hold with your fingers so be careful with use. Great Product overall!”
“These are awesome to have preloaded with what ever your vaping but the loading process left something to be desired for me personally. To load herb straight into my iq2 its like 3 mins top including grinding it it takes me like a while to just load one. Once they are loaded though they rock.”
“For flower, the dose pods are excellent to carry with you so you don't waste time loading on the go. However, I've had two already break so I think these should be made of metal for durability. Also, be careful, I burned the shit out of my fingers grabbing a dose pod too soon. My bad, but just watch out.”
“I recently bought the refill kit and the pod holder. Out of 12 pods, 3 were imperfect and do not fit in the ceramic chamber. I called customer service with my complaint to rectify this issue over a week ago since then no one has returned my call or has reached out to me via email. The cast for this product is not perfect and only buy them if you want to roll the dice in getting ones that fit as they are intended”
“Choice of the material is great (non metal, can be soaked in iso and then rinsed with hot water to remove iso traces), little pods are the best idea davinci came out of it.”
