“I love these things. Its been interesting experimenting. I have one crucible with the cotton pad & a puck for wax only. Most of the time Ill loosely fill my crucible with herb, then fill the dimple in the puck with wax and turn it toward the herb and close the crucible. There is an art to just the right amount of herb. Too much and its packed too tight making it hard to draw. Interestingly Ive found that even when not using wax, I get better performance by using the puck empty with my herb.
Not sure exactly why. But maybe someone else could comment on that. Only thing I would change is that Id reduce the OD of the puck to fit inside the rim of the crucible lid so as to not compress the herb as much. IQ2 is great for me but I will say the usb charging port seems not all that robust mechanically so I recharge my batteries on an external charger.”
