Even when it was working, it was super convenient, but the app sucks and I could never quite get that burnt smell out of the unit.”

“I have owned a Pax2 and 3 and a Firefly 2+ and IMHO this is better than both. Now, this is a more valid comparison to the Pax than FF - more portable, longer heat up times, similar usage. First way this is better than Pax is the dosage pod option. I found all aftermarket options for pax like budcups or the puck maker to greatly reduce the quality of the session. On the IQ2 the pods work better and having a few packed and ready is such nice option.
I think cleaning is easier on this than pax, though pax was not hard
as far as FF - this is a different beast I admit. But the FF was just more work than I wanted. If you got the bowl filled with the exact right amount of the right grind, the first few hits (once they came) were wonderful. Then it was a lot of work for very little pleasure. Plus the FF is not in any way discreet, which may or may not matter to you.
Although I have not tried other options, when I use this I do not have anything nagging me saying . . .this could be better.”
