“Received vape and was not impressed. It seems to only work about 10% of the time and the battery only lasts for 2-3 sessions. I found that I would spend more time trying to get the unit to function than I would getting any vapor. Generally vapor production was minimal when it worked (totally fine), but I could consume 3-10 bowls back to back and feel no effects. I tried different products, grinding as fine as humanly possible, packing more/less, etc and support could never get the unit functioning. They offered to repair the unit at my expense and I instantly lost faith in this company. When I requested to return using my 14 day return policy they gave me a hassle and told me I'd probably be charged a 15% restocking fee on top of it. So I'm out nearly $100 if I want to return a vape that doesn't work well, or at minimum around $30-40 in shipping fees to get it back to them for "repairs." I feel like this company is a little scammy and would never recommend them. I also found Customer Service to be extremely difficult to work with. Their phone support is non-existent and their email support only operates for 4 hours a day because of Co-Vid. Apparently these guys can't work remotely like everyone else in the country? Totally over this company. Please look elsewhere unless you want a poor experience like I've had.”
“I am a recent patient of medical cannabis. This device is very easy to use and operate.
The only drawback is, the app is not the same up that is used in the training videos or any description of the video online. There isn't a dosage description or regulator available on the app.”
“This is a nice machine. That being said, its still a work in progress. I havent used other vapes like this so may just highlight drawbacks of this type of design. The battery management is not good. It will show fully charged and then as soon as it draws current it shows partial battery. Still lasts approx an hour, just doesn't indicate well. The pearl. Adjustable apparently, but I immediately twisted it right off with little noticeable change in height. Apparently a new one was sent but Ive never seen it. I just super glued it and its fine. The extract chamber seems to only fit with pearl removed? The device heats up really fast, and uses battery really fast. Gets almost too hot to hold, which I suppose is good.
Overall its trying to be the most premium and trips up in a few places; heats up so fast and hot that it eats battery unnecessarily, the pearl is useless, the battery manager is rudimentary. The basic function is great, get some spare batteries, dont break the pearl, and you have an easy to clean, simple powerful vape with supposedly great warranty! Would cautiously recommend!”
“If the IQ2 worked as Da Vinci show in their videos and reviews would be a fantastic vaporizer but:
the Android app is different from the one they advertise and the available one is not compatible with the IQ2. So no way to set the smart paths and the dosage calculator. But Da Vinci is writing on this website that the IQ2 app should be available since the end of 2019, now it's July 2020 and no app.. Of course you can set them directly from the vapo but it is not as easy as they show using the ghost app.
Then, if you are not american and you need it for medical purposes with the dosage pods forget it.. no way to find the pods outside the USA.
Without the app this vaporizer is only a chinese brain teaser instead of a clever device.
Very disappointed about this, I'm not using it any more because without the app and the pods is only an average device hard to clean. My old crafty by stortz&bickel is easier to clean..
I could resell it on ebay but I'm not a "rascal" and I don't like to cheat some other people like Da Vinci cheated me.”
“Been using the original IQ for about a year multiple times a day and some issues started to come to light. Half broken hinge on the top due to the original pathway insert not staying flush after getting hot and because of how I held it at first i didn't notice and it snapped one part of the hinge. Still used it for months like that just by adjusting how I held it. The new one seems to have fixed those issues. The pathway sits nice and snug and after a few back to back sessions I assume it will stay that way. The one concern for me is how snug it actually is though...little tricky to get it to come out with their provided tool. Worried about damaging the silicone seal around it.
I was happy to see that the bubbler attachment I got with the original on special works with this as well and the airflow dial on the bottom allowed me to get that perfect draw. I can't speak to the app because I stopped using it about a week after I started using the original one and yeah the idea of dosage control and the smartpath temp presets sounds nice but I personally just don't use it. Turn that baby on get to 420 and just go. I rely on the actual strains to get the effects I want. I've read that people have had issues with the case being loose which I luckily do not experience so if you're one of the unlucky ones I may take them up on the warranty. And that is the last piece I wanted to comment on was the process for registering the devices...If I buy it from you directly from your site using my email why do I have to jump through hoops to register it? The registration site asks for a receipt plus all of the other information you already have tied to my account. I like your stuff I plan to buy more lol. Just ask me for the serial number I received and let that be it. Overall though it is about the device and it really is that much better than the original and I look forward to at least a year out of this one as I'm sure the next gen will do something even crazier.”
