“I had a hand held vape that was on it last legs. I previously had an earlier model by Davinci which was a very good unit itself. So I went with the IQ2. Well first inhale and my lips parted into a big shit eating grin. The flavor, was wonderful. Within seconds I was nicely baked and feeling no pain literally. 5 Stars”
“Seems to run a little bit cooler than the IQ.The pods makes it a lot cleaner and easy to set up dosage. To use with concentrate , take a pod put in some herb a grain of rice size concentrate , fill the Pod with more or herb and seal, Vape . I like the dosage concept, but needs the full on App to get the full value of the feature. Please hurry up, thank you.”
“I own an iPhone we all know how apple took a stance against vape apps! My Samsung tablet wont install google app I hear its not great anyway! I just want it Incase there are firmware updates Im missing but the pearl broke and twisted the silacone thread right off within hours of using and customer service just linked me to where to I could buy a replacement with no offer to replace it under warranty also the chrome shield under the mouthpiece has loosened on me on both iq2 and miqro great devices but need a few tweaks to make them ultimately better and work a little on the customer service pax was great and replaced a lot and no cost and I have to pay 7 plus shipping for a pearl maybe user error but come on the didnt take much force at all! And have had the miqro for two months now and that one didnt twist off but they have a thicker thread! I know I sound like Im complaining but really DaVinci has been by far the greatest quality portable vape on the market and would buy another or the upgrade in a heart beat just like to speak my mind I do enjoy this product! “I purchased the DaVinci IQ in November 2018 as a birthday gift to myself. A couple weeks ago I finally decided to send it in to get fixed (cosmetic issues where the glue came lose and caused this to fall off). My main concern was not having a replacement available so I decided to just purchase the IQ2 since I heard their service takes a while. I got the IQ2 today (ordered on Sunday and received on Tuesday) and tested it out. A few things:
1.) The unit is much heavier and feels very durable. This feels like its going to last a long time.
2.) It doesnt get crazy hot in ur hand. The IQ gets so hot Ive had to get an oven glove just to smoke.
3.) The lids feel very strong. Both lids on my IQ always wiggle and feel like they are going to break off.
4.) The air flow dial on the back is amazing!!!! Now it feels like a relaxing smoke instead of me hyperventilating.
5.) It looks like it will be easier to clean.
6.) The mouthpiece lays flush with the lid. My IQ always seems to not fit correctly.
Thats what I can think of so far. All in all I recommend the IQ2 to anyone serious about smoking. I get a cough free smoke that just feels amazing! Thank you DaVinci for the amazing upgrade!”
“I think IQ2 is fantastic.
I was looking at the IQ 2 in the store and I realised that the vape is even better than IQ (Awesome). I purchased it. The cost is 295$ plus tax.
The brushed aluminium is really nice. The style on the IQ is also very good.
The IQ2 is a bit bigger but a bit slimmer. It feels really good in my hand.
Its more solid, the adjustable air flow is an improvement on the amount of vape per draw.
There is also a vent with 3 line holes (More air flow when taking a draw.)
There are now more than six wider holes on bottom of the heating chamber. The IQ has 4 small ones. (That was a flaw in the IQ)
The mouth piece also has wider holes and more holes than the IQ..
It just looks cool!
The display is better because there isn't room for dust to hang to.The gaskets are more solid and there is no chance it can be moved unless I want to.
10 Years in the warranty.
My IQ is excellent, but the IQ 2 is a much improved device.
It may be that the IQ has emerged (IMO) ahead of the PAX 3. The IQ is close but the improvements made probably puts the IQ 2 ahead.
$295 - Is a high end price. The Pax 3 is $200 basic. The Pax 3 is a high end device which is better? Better The Pax 3 with the half oven. The IQ2 might be better once the glass spacers come out.
