“The sleeve is okay. it does protect it somewhat, the holes on it could be smaller ? And the sleeve does slide around but its fines. The main thing is that the sleeve was shorter then the IQ, likes it had been shrunken or something? But overall decent product, decent protection and decent design”
“I've used this for about a week now, and I have no complaints. It's much better to hold the IQ and doesn't feel nearly as hot, plus it looks pretty awesome (black on black). My glove doesn't slide at all and it totally makes sense to leave the bottom off (you can still access the oven without removing the glove). Highly recommended.”
“I thought it would be a good protective glove for the DavinciIQ, but its useless. First of all, you have to be carefull that the device dont slip throu the globe (it should be smaller so it grips good to the device)
Second, it only protects around the device, no protection on top/bottom, so if it falls... it will be likely to hit the same (It should had some kind of open/closing part ant the top/bottom)
This accessorie, at least for me, has been a waste... hope they design something better next time.”
“When I discovered how hot the DaVinci IQ gets I contacted the company to ask if something was wrong with it. Apparently not, and they suggested I get the glove. I read the reviews and some said the glove slips up and down. I hesitated to buy one, but another DaVinci rep said his worked fine and didnt slip. Ordered the glove. It does slip up and down, but it also makes the heated unit bearable to touch.”
“It's a nice looking sleeve, and feels good to hold and touch. It helps make the IQ more comfortable to hold when it's hot. But the glove slides around on the device too much, making it less convenient than it could be.”
“The silicone cover is great at keeping your hands from burning while the machine heats up but it is not tight enough; or the heat loosens the silicone and it slips up & down as you are holding the machine. The black looks sweet on the olive green machine”
