“I hope that DaVinci doesnt edit my review because its going to be 100% honest and at the same time will be bringing up some faults about the device along with the praise. I have been using the IQ for a couple weeks now, I chose the IQ over pax3 because I liked the idea of having an all ceramic system which was better flavor, but the pax3 I tried was also excellent. I like to vape at 430 and noticed at this temp the herb at the bottom of the bowl was getting burnt and at the pearl end still fresh looking. I was having to use way more product than I really wanted to, even though the pearl is adjustable you really couldnt reduce the bowl size that much without the pearl falling off, so I was having to stir constantly so I wouldnt get a burnt flavor and herb getting burnt the the bottom of the bowl. After adding these glass inserts this is like a whole new vape! I use the 6mil with the pearl adjusted to create a bigger bowl size because the 10mil creates an extremely small bowl with the pearl. I no longer get any burning of the product and I am now getting even cooking and the pearl is actually becoming more efficient at distributing even heat at the top of the bowl and I am getting better results using less product! I only need to stir once and no burnt flavor and an even consistent darker tobacco colour to the herb once fully cooked. I think DaVinci is marketing the product the wrong way because these inserts essentially turns your ceramic bowl into a glass bowl similar to a firefly2 because the glass insert sits at the bottom of the bowl and the herb sits on the top of the glass while being compressed by the pearl and the pearl is being heated by the sides of the bowl more efficiently resulting in an even cook. LARGE smooth flavorful clouds throughout the whole session at 430F with no burning no coughing! Add a bubbler or I assume the glassware that DaVinci sells will also work and the smoothness is unbelievable and cool, no throat hits no coughing! TIP- keep your tangerine peels and let them sit out for a week or so or use a dehydrater to dry them out. break them up into small little pieces and put them in the flavor chamber. Your welcome. :)”
