I have tried other portable vapes and this is definitely the best. Smooth and cool inhale. The 18650 battery is a big plus. Just drop in a fully charged replacement.

Unable to enjoy this device.. Even on the highest setting it offers a thin, tasteless vapor. (I miss the flavor delivered by the Firefly I had before it broke.) Davinci IQC also takes at least 1 minute to heat up, not the advertised 30 seconds, and it takes at least 2-3 minutes of heating time to get ANY vapor at all! I also got a Pax, and it's gives a nice vapor on just the middle setting. If I want more it can deliver more. And Pax heats in 30 seconds or less. Not the Davinci IQC, which is wimpy, no matter what I do, and I have tried everything- fine ground herb, well packed. The one thing I do like is the flavor chamber! Great idea. The design of the Davinci is great. It's just not made for enjoyable vaporizing. It's like telling someone they're getting a great old scotch to sip, but you give them a watered down tasteless vodka to "enjoy". Bleh.

Nice design but unsatisfactory vaping experience. Takes way longer than 30 seconds to heat. Plus to get any vapor you need to let it heat 3 minutes. Weak vapor no matter what setting.

...Just buy the damn thing (IQC). I did, and I have zero regrets! Before I say anything else, I first have to say... NO MORE COUGHING. DaVinci's clean first technology is like nothing I've ever experienced. Additionaly, the 100% convection heating of your chosen herb, when combined with the cooling capability of the ceramic flavor chamber that the vapor passes through, has improved my overall vaping experience tenfold. I am feeling very confident that my purchasing the IQC was the right decision to make. The IQC has a glass lined loading chamber that holds upto 0.5g of dry herb. You can vape extracts, but you will need to buy the extract kit, which is sold separately. Side note: The IQ2 mouthpieces and accessories all work with this model (IQC), as well. You can also buy spacers which will reduce the bowl size, if you find 0.5g to be too much for a session. I microdose throughout the day, so I decided to purchase the dosage pods that are available for the IQ2 series and wow... Just wow! I load the pods up in groups of 6 and use them throughout the day. Each ceramic pod is said to have 0.2g herb capacity, which I feel is an accurate statement. You can sandwich a small dose of concentrate between your dry herb while using the pods, if you so desire. The removable, rechargeable 18650 battery lasts for apx. 4 to 5 - 10 minute vape sessions. I recommend purchasing an additional battery to have on hand. I feel the price point of the DaVinci IQC is spot on for what you get out of it. For me, it will more than pay for itself soon enough, with what I am saving on dry herb each week. The unit does get warm, but not so warm that I can't hold it in my hands. The DaVinci App is nice for customizing your sessions (time and temp). Also, the app contains the user manuals and a nice faq section.
