“The switch mechanism was a bit difficult to remove from the gang box so we could use them in the existing slots. The fit was a bit tight and made it so it was not a slide out but took a bit more force. Replacing the switches in the existing boxes was pretty easy and they old switches came out and the new ones went in. We will see if the switches work more consistently moving forward when used. Your customer support with Tom is GREAT! He really made this happen.”

“I was unable to install because the backplate only works with 14 gauge wire and the wiring in my house is 12 gauge. I could not see on Deako’s website any option for a 12 gauge version so I have not used it.”

Seems expensive for what it is. Adding another single pole switch, after shipping…..$18. Regular paddle switches would cost me less than $5. I’m stuck with this product since it is the style they put in my house when they built it.”
