“The Smart switches have been fantastic. i upgraded from Scene Controllers, which had its share of problems like: intermittent disconnection from the app, random turning off, and inconsistent re-pairing techniques. The new Smart Switches have been much more reliable with connectivity, much easier to pair and set up, and looks a lot more sleeker and blended with the full white switch over the previous glass looking feel. I have only been testing them a month, but so far its been great. Highly recommended to go with Smart Switches!”

Also, you are correct there are some very important updates the app may need in order to keep functionality consistant so be sure to check this form time to time if it isn't automatic.
“I think these are overpriced but because my entire house is hard wired for them, I ended up buying 2. I like how they work and the schedule I can set for my porches. I wouldn’t mind having them all over my house but they’re just way too pricey.”
“The smart switch requires programming from a cell phone, and not a flip phone like I have, so I'll need to return them. You may want to have that warning take a higher priority in the postings.”
