“I'm pretty sure this thing killed my dryer that was barely over a year old. I didn't have any problems with my dryer until i switched out the deako simple switch to the Simple Motion Sensor & Timer. When I would turn on / off stuff like other lights, TV's, A/C, Microwave, etc., the light that the Simple Motion Sensor & Timer was connected to would come on. After I change the out the switch, I put a lode of clothes in my dryer and started the dryer. The dryer started for a second then stopped and wouldn't turn back on. I checked the breaker box, which the breaker where not tripped. I then checked the voltage for the dryer outlet which was still receiving power to it. When I started the dryer the light that the Simple Motion Sensor & Timer was connected to came on.
I called deako support and told them about the issue i was haveing. I was told that the older Simple Motion Sensor & Timer has an issue with the wireing in them, but they have since fixed the issue with them and they would be sending me a replacement Simple Motion Sensor & Timer. I was told there's like a 1 in 1000 chance that costumes will receive an older Simple Motion Sensor & Timer with the wireing issue. I switch the Simple Motion Sensor & Timer back to the Simple switch while i waite for for the new Simple Motion Sensor & Timer to come in and haven't had any issues but my dryer is still dead. For a $55 switch that was on sale cost me $700 in problems.”
