I am glad your Simple Motion Sensor/Timer is working great in your home. Regarding the timer settings, we appreciate your feedback and will consider it when we design future models. We have a 30-second timer for homeowners who want to install a motion sensor in their pantry, or other small spaces where you need a light on for a very short amount of time. The 10-minute setting is for rooms that you are spending a bit more time in, like the closet or the bathroom, and our 20-minute setting is for areas that you may use more often, so you don't have your lights constantly turning off and on as people pass through.
A 5-minute timer is an interesting idea. It would be useful to know where your motion sensor is located, so we can understand how a 5-minute setting would be the best option for your space.
“Great concept and quality but the price premium and locking in from changing to any other switch is a big drawback. If the price could be brought down, these will become best in market. Also, I was sent the electrical box too without asking if I needed one which is a waste of material.”

Also in relation to the backplate being sent with your motion sensor, due to certain restrictions, we aren't able to ship those switches without one but this is only temporary so we apologize for the unwanted equipment.
