“Switch is nice complement to the rest of the switches and their designs in the house. The motion detection is nice in the laundry room and pantry. I needed to place painter tape over part of one switch because it picks up motion from a nearby door. I was disappointed it doesn't sync with the app, but upon review, this is mentioned in the product description and isn't a big deal, I really don't need to have app access for the pantry and laundry room.”

“I recently purchased a second set of Deako switches after using my initial order for six months in my new home. The motion sensors have been a game changer and are now a must-have in my garage, kids' bathroom, kids' closet, and master closet. I love the versatility—you can choose between two different timing settings or disable the motion sensor entirely to use it as a standard light switch. Just keep in mind that since these switches automatically turn off after the preselected time, they aren't managed through the app. Highly recommended!”

“Purchased 6 sensors for different areas. When installed in a multi-switch panel, they work seamlessly and I love them. However, they do not work at all on single switches, which is where I need them the most (e.g. pantry, closet, etc.). I've done all the troubleshooting noted on the Deako site and have tested and confirmed the motion switches do work. They just don't work on my single switches. So disappointed.”

The Simple Motion Sensor Switches should only work in single pole locations, not multiways. We like to make sure that when we refer to single pole, it's one switch controls the light, not multiple (like a hallway). That can get confusing because light switches can be grouped with other switches in the same panel, known as a one-gang, two gang, three-gang, etc.
If you haven't already, feel free to give us a call! There may be something going on with the wiring if the Motion Sensors aren't working as intended, as they need the neutral wire connected, so they won't work if that's disconnected, and the hot-in/load needs to be in the right places as well.
