“The switch doesn’t work properly, as it comes on in the middle of the night without any known motion, as it is not near any windows and there are no animals or others in the house to set off the motion sensor in the night.”

We're sorry to hear that your Simple Motion Switch is turning on without any motion.
There could be a couple of reasons for this, one of which is wiring.

Our team has reached out to you. In many cases, the Motion Sensor Switch does not perform as expected due to one of two reasons: location or wiring. The switch can only be in locations where one switch controls the light, like a bedroom or pantry. It would not work in a location like a hallway where multiple switches control the light. Second reason is wiring may cause the switch to not work as intended.
