Could be the box wiring but not sure why it would be wired different than the others.
The other ones seem to be working well.”
“Easy to install and works as intended. I left the setting on test so it turns off after 30 seconds since I use it in my laundry room and don’t want it to stay on very long after I’ve left the room.”
“Update: Deako contacted me and let me know that based on the information I gave, they thought that there was potentially an issue with the wiring. They let me know to contact my builder's warranty department and even went as far as to give me a sample wording of how to submit the warranty request. I did and today an electrician came out and sure enough in two separate locations the wiring was backwards. So, the two replacement switches that Deako sent did in fact both work just fine. I'm not sure about the originals as I had already discarded them. Thank you Deako for great customer service!
I ordered 12 different switches including three motion switches. Of the three one worked and was fabulous and the other two didn't work at all. Right out of the box. I let Deako know and they quickly sent two more out which I thought was great customer service. I was super eager to install them but when I did one of them worked but one of them turned on at install and then immediately stopped working. I waited the full amount of time after install for it to calibrate went through all the troubleshooting steps etc. and it's just completely dead.. So now I am left with one closet that I would still like to put a motion switch in. But, I'm concerned about notifying Deako and having them send me another switch which still does not work.”
