“They do not work in any of our boxes. I have to file a warranty claim with our builder and I just don't have the time for that. Because the other switches work fine, it's not affecting our daily living. So it isn't an emergency where I feel a claim is needed. We already had one box replaced so our simple motion sensor would work. And that worked for a day and now it doesn't. So I will just wait until our 11-month walk-through with the builder to address those issues and a few other things. I know my neighbors have the same issues with some of their switches.”
“I want to like these nightlights, but the problem is they are just too bright, especially since they are at a higher level than a typical nightlight. They're a bit blinding in the middle of the night and the light shines directly at your eyes. It would be perfect if the light was shielded downward or could be dimmed.”
“Had no problem with the night light but one of the motion sensor switches, I had a problem with. After contacting customer support, they had me to move the switch to several different spots (same results) and it was beginning to aggravate me. After going back and forth with troubleshooting the switch for several days, I became frustrated and decided to keep the switch but will not buy another thing from this company. It shouldn’t be this hard getting a replaced for a switch.”
“Super simple install. If you have Deako switches, there's no installation at all, you just swap it out. very effective photosensitive strip on the side of the switch adds just enough light to see my way down the hall. Love these switches.”
“This really adds to the switch choices available. We used it in a dark hallway with a switch that lights up 2 steps, it's just the right brightness. Plan to install another in a bathroom and probably most looking forward to having it in the attic space so I'm not fumbling for where the switch is while atop a ladder.”
