“The chess table is a great starter set. The chess pieces are large wood pieces. The table is ok. I may try to make the squares a little more contrasting with paint or stain. They currently are hard to identify as which is dark and light. My husband and I are excited about sitting by the fire as we learn this game of chess. I would say this set will do the job and is attractive to have sitting out as it fits our rustic decor.”
