“My May 2nd review stated the Dan Carpenter clip would attach to the cutouts in my 56' Customline- that was an error. It should have read the clip would NOT attach to the cutouts (latching prongs are too narrow to latch inside the cutout- and there is no way to access and spread the prongs out further after they are inserted into the cutout).”

“I had written a review earlier about this clip not fitting a 56' Ford Customline. The prongs on the bottom of the clip are too narrow to fit into the cutout in the car body. Dan Carpenter did refer me to Restoration Specialties in Windber, PA for the correct clip- which they were able to provide. Per info. from Restoration Specialties (Jeff) the clip shown on the Dan Carpenter Website (B7A-7002614-A) fits Ford 59' to 64' year models. Model years 57' and 58' have a different design clip and the 56' clip also has a different design that is unique for 1956.”
