“I bought this turn signal switch thinking it would fit my 56 T-Bird as the discription said it fits "all" Ford cars 56-58, not so. After trying to get this to work for a number of weeks in my spare time I found out there are two different size shafts of these turn signals. There is a 5/16" size that Carpenter does not list or sell for a 56Thunderbird. They agreed to accept my return minus a 20% restocking fee for something that was my fault because it took me longer than 30 days to figure this out. The new part that I got from NPD on their correct catalog website works great, arrived quickly , but am still awaiting refund from Carpenter”
