“I purchased this along with a new pigtail and lock cylinder to replace a universal switch in my 1965 F100. Worked just fine with the new pigtail and lock cylinder and was easy to install. It was challenging to find a nut to thread on the accessory post, it may in fact be metric. The biggest flaw is the spring mechanism that returns the key cylinder from Start to Run is not effective, simply letting go of the key does not return to Run, leaving the starter engaged. it requires a manual nudge back to Run to disengage the starter. I've chosen to live with this for now but will consider looking for a replacement.”
