“Have been opening the door on my ol' 73 F100 by reaching in the vent window and opening from the inside for years due to broken replacement latch. This one seems to fit, but the jury is still out. Seems like the Door Latch Rod is about 1/4"-1/2" too long. Can't raise the rod high enough to get the lower end of the rod in the latch assembly. I guess I'll have to find a replacement latch rod or heat and bend the original to the correct length. I'll return and update my review once I get latch rod situation squared away. In the meantime, the vent window still works.”
