I’m a resident doctor that is in surgery often, and developed perioral dermatitis as a result. I’ve tried prescription strength AZA but the formulas all felt a little tight and stung my face. This one goes on clear and has great complementary ingredients. Definitely keeps my POD at bay even after just a few uses. I think I will buy a few at a time now and am even recommending it for my family members who like a nice elegant textured active to help with their redness or reduce breakouts! I’ve tried Inkey List, Ordinary, Peach Slices, Nineless (Worst of them all), and finacea. If you’re on the border I vote that you just give it a try and worst case scenario apply over moisturizer. I use in AM and Altreno at night! Also the packaging rocks, like come on, it makes it even more fun to use

It does a decent job of clearing up the redness around my t-zone.

I'm pretty disappointed with this product! I have been using is daily, during my nighttime routine, for nearly a month now and have seen no impact. I have hormonal acne around my jawline and chin area, and was hoping this cream would target some problem spots for me, especially with routine use. Saw nothing. I have a feeling this cream isn't as effective as a dermatologist-prescribed cream or something. Overpriced with no results, a miss!

Purchased my second bottle of this cream and continue doing so later for sure. All I can say is that this cream has a really gentle and effective formula. I have a very oily and blemish-prone skin. I used to use a Bayer’s 20% azelaic acid (aka Skinoren cream) but I found out that propylene glycol (one of the ingredients) gave me unnecessary redness and rash, plus skin was always super dry. I switched to Dermatica’s cream and not once have I regretted my decision. One bottle lasts for about two months. I use it every night and every other morning or when I need a less shiny skin throughout the day

I like that I am able to buy 20% azelaic acid without a rx. The formula is nice and spreadable so I don’t have to use more than 1 pump of product. I wish it was sold in a larger quantity than 1oz. as this doesn’t last very long especially if you use it twice a day as indicated.
