“Interactive Architecture is a play on words. A good architect does not need to resort to oddball time consuming gismos to create a wonderful building. However, sometimes these gismos can be amusing or interesting in certain types of installations. However, if so much time and money is spent on a gismo, is it cost effective? Then again, it is nice when people can try something new. However, there comes a time when it is helpful, and there is a time when it is just too much fussing. Altogether it is an unusual outcome that can be had with computers, data, and multi sensory equipment. Individual installations need to evaluate the pros and cons of such.”
