“Steve and I would like to thank Carol for all the planning for our wonderful holiday and wedding at Victoria Beachcombers. We felt confident with Carol's advice because we had been recomendended by a friend. Carol has first hand experience of the places that she recommends and one feels that first hand knowledge is so valuable. Carol was there to help us every step of the way from the initial suggestions to drawing up a package that we were so happy with. She, and colleagues were also there when we needed to reschedule due to bereavement and we were assured of the same experience a year from our initially planned date. Again, how unlucky were we to find disruption to our plans due to storm Belal that affected our flights. Carol was on hand and assured us that we could call any time as she worked tirelessly behind the scenes to reschedule the whole holiday and flights. We felt confident that we were going to get there safely and have a wonderful experience. We had an amazing wedding day and honeymoon experience and would recomend Victoria Beachcombers to everyone. The team there were very professional and made sure we hd a lovely experience. On our wedding day there was even a personal note from Carol wishing us well and that was a lovely personal touch. ( I have written a detailed review on tripadviser of the resort and facilities) We were so grateful to have a calm steady person to guide us that knew the suite of hotels well and was able to recommend the one that suited us best. Carol is an experienced travel agent with lots of invaluable first hand knowledge. She is always on hand to answer any queries. We willrecomend Carol and Designer Travel to our friends. “Carol has helped us to book a Kenyan safari for my husband's 50th birthday. She dealt with our concerns and queries very quickly and put together a fantastic trip. She first gave us a number of options which other travel agents did not do. I would highly recommend Carol and will hopefully be booking further holidays with her.”

“Carol has organised many holidays for us over the years and we highly recommend her. Carol creates itineraries /adventures to suit every requirement - destinations, dates, length of time, budgets. She has a wealth of experience, resulting in our trips always exceeding expectations. Our recent holiday to Canada incorporated planes, train, ferry, tour transfers and it was smooth running all the way. Don't spend time searching the internet, give Carol a ring, nothing is too much trouble and no question is too trivial.”

“We love booking our holidays with Carol. She has such great insight and knowledge to help choose the right ones for us. And takes the hassle out of looking for the needle in the haystack! Better still, if things go wrong, she's on it, relieving the pain of having to sort out. She's like our own personal travel assistant!”

“We have just returned from the most incredible holiday, arranged by Carol Shoesmith. The cruise and hotel package was created to suit our requirements of dates, budget, destinations etc. Over the years, our requirements have changed gradually, and Carol was able to listen to us and find out what we wanted. We could ask Carol anything, however trivial and she would always get back to us in a very short time. Nothing was too much trouble. Our 7-day cruise with 3 nights on land in Vietnam & Cambodia over Christmas / New Year exceeded our expectations! The itinerary was incredible & the best we’ve experienced, allowing us to connect deeply with the places we visited. It was a perfect blend of relaxation, cultural exploration, and personal learning. And of course, we enjoyed a wide variety of delicious food. Whilst on this holiday, we spoke to other guests who thought they had a cheaper deal. However as our package included pre-and post-cruise stays at top hotels as well as the flights, everyone agreed that we had the best value for money. Instead of spending hours searching online, give Carol a call. She is a perfect travel designer and will design your dream holiday!”

She is very friendly and I feel I can ask any question however trivial it may seem. We have booked several holidays through Carol and recommended her to friends snd family, and I wouldn't consider using anyone else.”
