Product is fine, less stable than expected. Customer service is abysmal, decided to return it and it’s been like a month no refund no response from them.

This light is nothing short of outstanding. It essentially made our propane lanterns obsolete. The lowest possible setting on one side of the light was more than enough for our 2-night camp trip. Never had the need to make it brighter. This light doesn’t use one of those crappy super bright LEDs that hurts everyone’s eyes and/or doesn’t even illuminate your surrounding with good lighting. I can best describe this as a really good garage shop light for getting things done in the dark. We were able to cook and clean without having to fumble with moving a lantern around the different stations we had set up. Easily one of our best camp purchases of all time. Highly considering if we should grab a second one… If you’re still undecided, just get it.

Great light. Love the versatility. Great for camping and outdoor activities. We use it to grill at night. We absolutely love this light. The only downside is I just learned they came out with a newer brighter version right after I got mine. Had I known I probably would’ve waited to get the new one.

This is a bright light. And it is weather resistant. No you don't set it up during a hurricane you set it up after one when you are without power for 3 weeks. This enables you to have overhead light to conduct all the duties of your camp. Because that is what you're doing after a hurricane. I am all about anything that does not require resupply for additional resource to operate. This was a very well thought out idea and I am pleasantly surprised even though initially I was shocked at the price point. This is worth it. Good job.

Love this light. The brightness and user defined directional variation between the 4 bulbs are excellent. Telescoping stand can vary in height and when extended to its fullest, emits a wide circumference of light (although I'd recommend reinforcing the base if in windy situations). Optional filters useful when in buggy areas. Haven't tested how long a single battery charge will last yet but it's worked fine for me on 3+ hrs of continuous usage. I love the optional solar panel although a couple of times it wouldn't accept the charge not sure why. Was really excited about the optional motion sensor unit but the sensor sensitivity control range doesn't seem to vary much for me not sure why. This is a bit annoying because I frequently camp solo and wanted this as an alert for animals encroaching upon my campsite but it kept turning on at the slightest surrounding movement (which kept me up during the nights and eventually I have to turn it off). Regardless, this is an excellent campsite light. Highly recommend.

After seeing these on Instagram I purchased one for a Memorial Day trip to the Alvord Desert. The LightRanger 1200 lit up our entire camp and worked flawlessly. The USB charging is a great feature and I plan to be getting the solar kit in the future. We used the red filter for just the right ambiance.
