I bought this light to take on my camping trips to help with cooking and nighttime activities. I can honestly say that this light is probably one of the best lights that I have used. It has a very long battery life, is built extremely well, and is very bright. I also like the fact that you can use it on all four sides, three sides, two sides, or one side if you like. I also like that it is able to be dimmed, USB rechargeable, and rechargeable through a solar panel. It truly is a one-of-a-kind light and is that something that should be on the top of your camping list!

I did a review several weeks ago, the lights are awesome, however I did have an issue with one of the lights failure to keep a charge. The wonderful folks here at Devos quickly contacted me the inquire more about my issue, they determined I had a defect light and promptly sent me another. Both lights are functions as advertised. I couldn’t be happier with this product. Having an extending tri-pod a Has made all the difference have good light through mycamping area.

The LightRanger is a great product that will make enjoying base camp gathering at night. The fact that you can extend this light 9ft in the air keeping the bugs away is fantastic.

Right out of the box, we are stoked. Build quality and light intensity is there. As others have pointed out, a slightly tinted lens to avoid the LED blues would be great, even as a "bolt-on" option would be good. I imagine when out in the sticks, it will always be on a dim-mode (it is BRIGHT). Not that you asked, but another suggestion might be to add a piggy back pocket on the carrying bag just for the ground spike. For two reasons, to keep the eventual dirt crust from out of the main bag and to protect the unit and tripod from a dirty metal spike rocking and rolling about. We put a modified wine cork on the tip and snuck it in an oversized ziplock.

Thanks for the great review! Nice suggestion on stake storage. Another way to store the stake is to take the tripod off, slide the stake onto the shaft and then replace the tripod. This way the stake doesn't bang around inside the bag and become separated and lost.

Just got the lamp. Appears to be excellent quality. Functions out of the box. Didn't give a 5 rating since I havent had the opportunity to use it yet and fully evaluate it. One thing I liked is that in addition to the pole it can also be hung from a hook. The company should advertise that fact.

I love this light!! I bought it for the million of camping trips using head lamps with the kids. It was great and lit up the entire camp for 3 families using a single light. It would be great if it lasted all night. Otherwise, the best light so far.

Bought a 2 pack and use them on my property. They are very light and you just pick it up and take it anywhere you need a fully illuminated area. No more extension cords and lights. The Light Ranger solves all my indoor/outdoor lighting needs. Thank you for making a great product!
