Awesome light to light up any dark place. The light coverage is very nice. When fully extended it can get too top heavy when moving it around. Great for camping and anything that needs a decent light without producing any shadows. Only gripe is when the battery is getting low, there is no easy indicator besides looking in the app. The light will just turn off once the battery is depleted. Overall, highly recommended.

I used the Devos 2000 at our camping event this past weekend, and I believe that I got 3 to 5 people getting ready to purchase one. I think I need some referral perks. Lol

Have not used the light outdoors but turn it on in my garage with all the lights off at night this thing is bright. Really glad I went for the extra to get the Bluetooth version.

I have the LightRanger 1200, love it so much decided to add the 2000 a few months ago. Was able to use it a few weeks ago, wow, what an upgrade. The brightness is amazing along with the ability to change colors WITHOUT the hoods, Bluetooth integration into their app is amazing, access to all the new features at your fingertips is awesome. There is NOT a better light in the market.

Just two years ago, I came across the Devos LightRanger (since renamed to LightRanger 1200) that wowed me with its innovative design. It was one of the best -- if not THE best -- large-area camping light despite some of its flaws. I had since reviewed the heavy-duty Goal Zero Skylight and tested other products like the Conpex TW-TRP-01, ouTask Telescoping Lantern, and many of their copycats. Yet, the LightRanger remained my go-to gear for overlanding and camping because of its compact footprint, built-in battery, and ability to brighten an entire site for a long time. The company later released a lower-cost model with the LightRanger 800. The newest LightRanger 2000 did NOT disappoint. It improved on having built-in color LEDs (no longer need to carry around filter kits), brighter light, Bluetooth remote control via smartphone app, taller height (yet folds away even smaller than the LR 1200), slightly larger battery, and sturdier tripod. There are some minor issues I came across, but they were not deal breakers. I still recommend the LightRanger as the best, larger-area, most compact and portable, battery-operated light available. We have used it for overlanding, backyard BBQ, and evening tennis matches. It had also served well to mark our camp for late comers to find our site.
