so i had numerous questions in which one of them got answered. i was delivered a solar panel with a hole and they sent me another one. good job, but they ignored my other concerns. makes me think My other questions or concerns that never got answered are the solar panel and battery don't sit snug on the light, is that normal. they seem to wiggle and sway a lot. there attached on the light but not snugly. and the motion light knobs for time and sensitivity don't have clicks for setting 1 thru 5. they just spin and spin. 360 dregree of spin, is that normal. you can only charge the battery or light one at a time with the solar panel, correct. you can't charge them both at the same time? thanks those were the following concerns i had. and twice i asked the guy and twice never got an answer. 4 stars for sending me a new solar panel, but other than that. i cant get the motion detector to work. theres no way to tell which setting its on. the parts all wiggle, nothing is sturdy. overall, i should of just got a lantern, it would have been about 350 bucks cheaper and worked. i purchased everything too. the light, light filters, external battery, solar panel, stake, motion detector, bag. would i purchase again, nope. just buy a headlamp or lantern.

I bought 2 but only got one stake. I raised a support ticket and I was supposed to receive the second one but I didn't got that one either.

The LightRanger Ground Stake is a strong sturdy base for your light post when the wind starts to blow. They also come in handy when you need a strong sturdy base for your fishing pole.

Sturdy material but not balanced very well. The actual spike portion needs to be longer otherwise you need tiedowns to keep it steady.

Worked great on a recent backpacking trip to Point Reyes CA. Arrived at night during rain. I set up the Light Ranger 800 with the ground stake in just a minute or two and the whole group campsite had light. Ground stake worked great and was much lighter to carry then the tripod legs. Easily got 3hrs of runtime on max brightness.
