“Picked up the ranger for a camping trip… it puts out a fantastic amount of light on the minimum setting …perfect height that you do not get in the way of the light when moving .. also on a bonus . We found out that having this was perfect when we had a power outage the other week . Lit up the lounge ..
So I would recommend this produce .. keep it charged you never know when it will come in Handy On a down side wish the charging cable came with a standby usb fitting not the new style (smaller ) fitting”
“Another fantastic product from Devos! I purchased two of the original LightRanger 1200s a couple of years ago and have loved them. Where I live the power goes out frequently due to storms this time of year so I wanted another light. The LightRanger 800 was perfect for around the house, and I've already used it twice in the last two weeks due to power outages. It's hard to overstate how important it is to have the light up high on the pole. With lanterns on tables the light casts a lot of shadows and is annoying, but up on the pole it is much like the sun and normal room lights.
I was also impressed that Devos has continued to innovate and improve their products. For example, it now uses USB-C like all of my other devices (except my iPhone, c'mon Apple), and there have been subtle improvements to the telescopic pole. I also really like the carrying case.
