“This fire pit is excellent. Fires burn hot and clean-up is a breeze. A bit difficult to get the protective film off, but a heat gun set on low helped. Very happy with this fire pit.”

“Just used it for the first time and it was great. Easy to put together, to clean and to disassemble. Fires burned hot and had lots of hot coals. We cooked on it to different nights and the grate is awesome. I love the way it slides easly from one side to the other.”

“I really wanted to love this. Unfortunately I cannot. This is made from thin steel, very sharp at that, as I was trying to peel off the protective tape I sliced through my nails. The grate of the grill is way too small only really enough to feed about 2 grown ups. Also as soon as I started the fire going it almost instantly began to warp. This in my opinion is the worst fault it has. This metal should be able to withstand the heat without warping because it also a fire pit. It no longer lays flat. I wish I would have known this before.”

Ana, thank you for the honest feedback. We have tested this extensively and yes the 18 ga stainless steel sides do flex as the fire heats up, but the proprietary design of the fire pit allows the sides to flatten back out as it cools so it doesn't affect the performance of the unit. The protective film is a trade-off in order to protect the stainless steel from getting scratched in the production and shipping process. We opted to ensure the unit would arrive perfect to the customer, but we apologize for this one-time inconvenience in the unboxing of the unit.
