“This thing is just perfect for what i was looking for. I really can't stand all the hype Yocan gets with its Pro model. Which everyone considers "the best" and it is mostly just hyped up from kids who know absolutely nothing what their talking about. Dont get me wrong im sure it performs fine, but it does not do "temp control" amongst other things they claim loool. That is the first "gimmick" they get them with - temp control. Your doing nothing but adjusting the VOLTAGE/POWER of your mod, just changing the voltage to adjust the amount of POWER your coil is getting. REAL "temp control" would is made with an additional feature on the chip itself, and this feature will then let you adjust the actual Temperature (300f,350f,400f) in DEGREES. That is Temp Control. Another thing Yocan claims why they do magnetic hold is they claim "over time you can mess up the threads on a normal 510 thread mod/pen and then you would have to get another one." If that isnt the biggest crock of shit i have ever heard idk what is. I have been vaping since 2013, before allll the hype started in 2015(?) and have probably close to 100 mods(not kidding i have 3 boxes full of them, it was a hobby for years). NEVER ONCE have i "messed up the threads on my 510", lool what a joke. It just the lying blatantly like this that i cant get behind Yocan. When that Pro model came out, they could have done everything they said that the new 2.0 has but they didnt, only to wait and make another model to sell. I mean what did they add to the Pro 2.0 which btw you can only get on their website currently for $50!!?, LOL. They added usb-c and a metal casing thats it and now want over double the price. This Cartisan Black Box right here is just perfect though and can be had for half the price of a Pro 2.0. Meanwhile if you ask me it looks sexy as hell 10x better and just much more clean/not like im 18yr old looking toy. I mean im vaping a cart, i dont need adjustable voltage to the tenth degree, its really unnecessary lol. So besides the Fully adjustable voltage option the Pro 2.0 has($50), its got nothing else on the Cartisan. This Black Box i prefer in every way, its got USB-C, just about 50% MORE battery life(900mah!) and yet its STILL smaller than the Pro's. Icing on the cake is the rubber coating they use on it, reminds of my old Vaporshark DN40 vape mod(same rubber coating). It just feels (and looks) awesome in the hands. Has pre-heat(which can be used for low temp vaping) and the normal 3 stage voltage settings to choose from. This Cartisan Black Box is such a win over the Pro in battery life alone, lets not even get started on the looks lol. Sorry for the long post, i wanted to review my Black Box that i bought from here, and obviously it happened to be the place where i vent my Yocan Pro frustrations as well. Get this one, you wont regret it or be like everyone else walking around with a Yocan Pro ♂️”
