“I bought the Seahorse Pro primarily as a cartridge vaping device, but have learned that's not its best application. I won't be buying any more carts because they are not the best delivery system for THC. The first time I used my Seahorse as a slurper I was disappointed because it appeared to be wasting wax. Since then I've learned a better way to use the Seahorse. What you do is pre-heat the ceramic element by clicking the power button three times. I allow it to cycle all the way through without dabbing. That normally clears the appeture and allows air to flow. Then, I heat it again with another three clicks and when I'm certain it's hot enough I barely "touch" the pile of wax in the glass container while at the same time inhaling. It only takes an instant for the glass tube to show a white cloud of vapor that is inhaled. The trick is to not allow the heated tip to contact the wax any longer than is necessary to produce the hit. You'll notice that a single hit barely makes a dent in the wax, which is your indication that your precious THC isn't being wasted. A gram now lasts me nearly two weeks and that's getting high every evening. You can even run the hot tip around the inside of the "empty" container/jar and still get smallish hits.”
“This is a great convenient way to vape with oil or cartridges. I like that I can use oil concentrates or cartridges and change them out very easily. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that the tip will get clogged very easily with oil if you don't leave it upright immediately after vaping and the battery dies quickly.”
