“O like the capacity and options of have, I use in files with my MBP 2017 and BMD ultra scope 3G interfase, only need a little more options for have 5 stars, like a Audio phase detection, show Sync pulse level and type, comparate sync and input signal and in the GUI have direct buttons for immediately access to more used functions, or in the Touch Bar included”
“I’ve been using scope box since it’s inception nearly a decade ago, I purchased a permanent license and was incredibly disappointed that you will now be billing me yearly for its continued use.
I would also like to express my frustration with the alterations in the function of some features I use regularly. Namely the capture stills function.
I now have to leave the sidebar open to capture stills rather than a nice simple tab with record and capture buttons immediately available.”
“This app is perfect for all the times you want to paint a camera when the client doesn't provide a true scope. Comes in handy when all you have handles to paint the Camera, but it doesn't have an actual RCP.”
“Works well, does not use a lot of CPU resources so can run it simultaneously with other programs rather well. One thing I wish it had was full false color modes, not just green and pink highlights, but also for the under and overexposed parts of the image.”
“Scopebox is one of the most useful and versatile tools in my arsenal. It's my go-to for all kinds of QC questions. It's rock solid, and feature packed. MUST HAVE.”
“Glad to have lots of trials to get to know ScopeBox before shelling out the $105.
My 2016 13' MacBook Pro is a little underpowered to run this without lag unless I scale down to 720p display resolution, and even then the fan runs the whole time ScopeBox is running.
Would be nice to be able to easily overwrite layout settings while making small tweaks instead of having to create a new name each time. Or at least pre-populate the Save as Custom Layouts dialogue box with the current name plus a number.
Also, saved layouts often lose the Device input setting and the options disappear until I go to a default layout and select a device there.”
Matthew,
Thanks for the review. A couple quick notes:
Layouts don't save the source settings, those are saved separately to a "saved source" under the "source" menu.
You can name a saved layout the same name as an existing one, and you will be prompted to overwrite the previous one.
