“Buy with extreme caution.
I bought the hair myself and took it to my stylist to install. She has been doing hair for more than 15 years and has experience with this hair. She opened the hair infront of me and we were both thrilled at how closely it matched my real hair. She immediately installed the hair, the hair never left my sight.
I wash my hair once a week so I did the same with this hair. I use Biolage shampoo, conditioner, and heat protectant.
After the first wash I noticed a little fading in the hair but I thought that was probably to be expected. After the third wash the hair faded so much that I cannot go in public without a hat. I work remote or I would have had to pay to color them or have them removed. I wanted to reach out to customer service before I did anything so that’s what I did….
After some back and forth I was told that my stylists must have colored the hair originally. That’s the only answer and that I should reach out to her and pay to have it toned or colored.
This hair is not inexpensive. I paid to have it installed. The color was perfect. Three weeks in I'm told to pay to have it colored??? You can see in the pictures that the hair looks dramatically different after just three washes. I’ve pulled the short parts of my real hair around to compare.
My real hair has NEVER faded that dramatically after being colored. My stylist did not touch this hair with anything color related. There was no need to do that bc the color was perfect.
I waited to leave this review in hopes that customer service would be somewhat helpful. That has not been my experience at all. Basically, spend more money fixing a problem that I did not create.
My guess is that this set of extensions had been poorly colored prior to shipment. Beware that should the same thing happen to you, you’ll be stuck. I would not recommend buying anything from this website.”
“These wefts did not hold up. They lasted less than a week and became so knotted that I had to have them cut out. I’ve bought extensions from DB several times and have been happy with them. But for some reason, these were of very poor quality.”
